What if Akord no longer exists?
We are on a path to becoming a fully decentralised app, deployed directly on Arweave.
In practical terms, this means once the app itself is deployed on Arweave it will also be permanently available forever. Indeed every release of the app would be available as well.
So even if Akord, the company and employees, stops working on the development of the app, the app itself will continue to work on the permaweb.
In the immediate short term, we'll be working on the Akord Explorer in 2021 Q4. The Akord Explorer will be like a blockchain explorer but for Akord. Depolyed directly on the permaweb, you will be able to connect to Akord Explorer and find all your uploads, as well as view them in a gallery mode.
