File versioning

In Akord we have an in-built system for file versioning.

Once you upload a file to Akord, you have the option to add a new version.

Your new files take their name from the current name of the file you're adding to. That’s to say, if you upload a file called Alice and the first file you had uploaded is called Bob, then the new file will be called Bob.

When you’re within the media viewer, you have the option to view all the previous versions of a file. All the versions will take the name of the file you're adding to, but they will also be marked with a suffix, V1/2/3 etc, and this will be added to any of the versions you download.
