What happens to the wallets and AkordJS if Akord shuts down, will they still work?

If Akord shuts down, wallets and AkordJS will still work, as they are based on Arweave's decentralized blockchain infrastructure.

Akord Explorer (scheduled for release in Q3 2023), will be deployed on the Permaweb and provide perpetual access to any data uploaded to Akord. All you need is your backup phrase to connect your wallet to Explorer and find your data, which will not depend on Akord the company continuing to operate.
