Withdrawal right
What is the withdrawal right and why we ask you to waive this right.
In French law (but also in many other countries), the consumer must be informed of the existence of their right of right of withdrawal, and of the ways to exercise this right. This essentially means you have a consumer right to exit a service if you wish, and this is typically 14 days from agreement.
However, the consumer's right of withdrawal may be waived or not exist in contracts of supply of services fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period, and whose performance has begun after prior express agreement of the consumer and express waiver of his right of withdrawal.
In our Akord's particular case, the consumer’s action of creating vaults and uploading data to the Arweave blockchain before this 14-day period would make any withdrawal action impossible – the data is already permanently stored on the blockchain, and any reversal of this action is impossible.
